Objects up to 32 inches in width and 10 inches in depth, or cylindrical surfaces as much as 15 inches long and 6 inches in diameter, can be accommodated. Marking interior surfaces or complex shapes is greatly simplified with laser technology.

Examples of materials that can be laser marked include steel, some grades of bare aluminum and engineered ceramics.

Plated surfaces such as zinc, nickel, chrome, and anodized aluminum are also well suited for the laser. Rubber, wood, cloth, paper, and a variety of plastics can be precisely engraved or cut.
